Missing Reps During Testing?

This is something users commonly run into. When setting up movements for testing you need to teach the machine the start and end positions of the movement. Think of these start/end positions as orbs that the handle must pass through. If the handle does not pass through these start/end position orbs then the machine won’t recognize tested repetitions.

On jumps and bounds, users tend to jump towards the machine. If they jump too far forward and the handle doesn’t pass through the original start/end positions, Proteus won’t be able to count the repetitions.

Tip: We recommend marking the floor with a reference line to let the athlete know where you want them to take off from and land on each rep to stay in the same plane to avoid this.

Ask us for our Floor Logo which can be placed on your floor or mat to create a reference point!

If you are still having troubles with rep counting? Please see our Operations Check procedure and contact fieldoperations@proteusmotion.com with the results.
