How do I reset an account’s password?

There are two different ways that you can reset a Proteus account’s password.


To reset a password while logged out of Proteus:

  1. While accessing from client.proteusmotion.com or standing in front of your Proteus machine, select Login
  2. Enter your email address
    • If not previously logged in, you may need your location ID to progress to the next step. If this is the case, please reach out to your site’s administrator or  customersuccess@proteusmotion.com for this information
  3. Select Next
  4. Select Forgot Password?
  5. Check your email’s inbox for Reset Password Instructions and use the proper links to reset the account's password
    • If you don’t see this email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder

To reset a password while logged into Proteus:

  1. Select the Trainer Drop down menu in the top right corner of the screen
  2. Select Site Admin
  3. This will automatically bring you to your site’s user list. Select the user that needs to reset their password
  4. Select Edit Profile in the top left of the screen
  5. Select Account
  6. Where the modal says password, select Edit and Reset Password
  7. The user will receive and email to reset their password
    • If the user does not see their password reset email, remind them to check their spam folder
